The lightning that I see outside the plane’s window, has me scared for life,
I hope and pray to God that the plane stays airborne and doesn’t take a sudden nosedive.
What would happen if this plane crashes on a mysterious island just like on Lost,
It would surely make the airlines incur a lot of cost.
The man to my right had been snoring right through this scary storm,
How can he be so oblivious of the dangers I wonder, perhaps it has to do with where he is from.
Gentle music plays on kid’s play phone and provides the much needed relief,
I have to give it to the pilots who are flying safely in this weather and the passengers for having such a strong belief.
My ears pop and unpop due to the change in the air pressure,
I can’t wait to reach solid ground, of my complete impatience I can’t give you a measure.
The dull humming sound of the plane flying is like a lullaby and making me slowly fall asleep,
The poems I write will be passed on to my future generation and I hope this dairy safely they will keep.
