Keep walking, for the goal is still far, success takes time,
It needs all your strength; so don’t you whine.

If it were that easy, wouldn’t everyone be sitting wearing a crown?
It needs persistence, it needs hard work, but don’t let it wear you down.

Not everyone will support you in this fight,
There will be pitfalls and rocks in your way, so you will need all of your might.

Life will be tough, not just for now but for a while,
You will have to fight alone, so write that down in your file.

There will be other people on your path, all trying for the same goal,
Be their brother, be their friend, for they are the ones who will help you when you fall into a hole.

Sometimes, family gives up on us and friends see the other way,
But you still have to keep going, come what may.

What happens though, when we give up on ourselves, when we don’t want to give ourselves a chance anymore?
That’s when we falter the most, that’s when we lose all our hope, that’s the time though, to strengthen our core.

Give it one more shot, climb higher, push ahead and try harder,
For there is glory beyond the darkness, and all the praise that you can garner.
