Grey skies and grey cloud,
With lightening and thunder so loud,
The rain pours and falls on my face,
And I keep looking out the window as if in a daze.

A shiver runs down my shoulder,
My breath turns to mist as it gets colder,
I get up lazily with a cup of coffee in my hand,
Time passes by quickly like the running sand.

I look around and see the mountains so green,
My face droops; it has lost all its sheen,
Sobbing silently, I listen to the quiet song,
I wipe my tears and smile slightly as I hear the clock’s gong.
